Quick easy access to the General Store, marina, private and public beach is at your fingertips. Take a hike into Desolation Wilderness as Fallen Leaf Lake offers the easiest access to the most remarkable sights in all of California. Sailing, paddling, motor boating, rowing and swimming are just a few activities to keep everyone happy and healthy.

This home is free of the television making those dinner conversations around the table even more fun. There is public WiFi access just in case you need to check in with the rest of the world.

Loved the place. Kitchen was very well-appointed. Wished we'd known to bring beach towels. Some battery operated candles would be nice for outdoor table. MANAGER RESPONSE: we do note in the listing that bathroom linens are provided. Guests need to bring beach provisions.

A suggestion would be to include in the information that there is little cell or internet service available. MANAGER RESPONSE: We do include in guest book information on purchasing internet while there and home has a land line for cell phone issues.

Everything was great! Just an FYI though...we (individually) did not realize that the thermostat was pre-set on some random program...some of us are from Monterey County where one does not often need A/C. Anyway, we finally realized that it wasn't one of the "humans" turning the temp down, for example, at 3:00 in the morning. As you know, the yellow jackets were a nuisance....but we made the best of it. Suggestion: The screen door to the deck does not close properly...we jury-rigged a tie with a plastic bag and wrapped it on the window treatment cleats to keep the bugs and Y/Js out. This worked well for us, but the door needs adjustment. One last thing...we could have used a shallow non-stick pan for eggs and pancakes. Thanks for providing such a lovely backdrop for our family retreat. We have been summer visitors at Fallen Leaf going back to the late 1950's...our grandparents used to rent the Duzanica cabin. Kathy Twibell 916-400-4982 MANAGER RESPONSE: Sorry about the A/C. There is no A/C in Fallen Leaf Lake or Tahoe so we keep it set to "off" during the summer. If it gets turned on, then the heat will automatically come on instead of the A/C. We are working to fix the screen door now thanks to your feedback. Glad you enjoyed yourself!

This unit has check-ins and check-outs only on Saturdays.

Check-In begins at 4:00PM and Check-Out is by 11:00AM.

There is a 50% deposit due at the time of booking. The remaining balance will be automatically charged 30 days prior to arrival.

Renters may NOT bring pets.
· Renters must park in the two spots reserved for the rented cabin; not “Guest” spots.
· Motorized boats are not allowed in the swimming area near the swim dock.
· Boat trailers are not allowed to be parked on FLLHOA property. Renters should work with the marina to have trailers stored.
