It's on Venice Drive with open space surrounding you so it's much more private than other homes in the Keys. From the front yard and master bedroom, you get unobstructed views of an expansive meadow, where wildlife can frequently be spotted. You also get the perfect view of Mount Tallac, which is a local favorite due to its majesty and snow capped peaks. From the living area and backyard, the view is perfect for watching boats and kayakers go by on the water, with views of Heavenly Mountain in the background. The water sparkles as it reflects light back into the house. You can also dock your boat at this home! Maximum boat size is 20 feet.
The open concept living room and kitchen area is our favorite part of this home. When you walk in the front door and up a few steps, you are instantly hit with light from the floor to ceiling windows that run the entire length of the great room. This bright and airy room with vaulted ceilings doesn't get much more open. There is a gas fireplace, perfect for snuggling up in the winter and a large deck off the family room, great for a warm evening during the summer. The updated kitchen overlooks the dining/living area allowing you to see the water and watch your kids as you cook! This area is perfect for entertaining your guests during your stay. The master suite is on the living area level. The master has another gas fireplace and private bathroom.
Downstairs is spacious and relaxing. The 3 bedrooms down here are all connected by a second downstairs family room. This living room has a huge comfy sectional perfect for the kids to watch their shows while the adults have fun upstairs. The two separate spaces create an ideal situation for families coming to Tahoe with their kids. The backyard and boat dock can be accessed from both up and downstairs. The backyard has a lawn and is beautifully landscaped. This home's close proximity to biking paths make it easy to bike over to the famous Pope and Camp Richardson beaches. This is the ultimate place to spend your annual Tahoe trip!
